This house in Mondoñedo is a typical example of the architecture of this northern town of <a href="https://www.galicianrustic.com/en/product-category/homes-at-lugo/">Lugo</a>. Located 20 minutes from the coast, Mondoñedo is the most important town in the <a href="https://www.turismo.gal/que-visitar/xeodestinos/marina-lucense?langId=en_US" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mariña Lucense</a>. Its relevance within the <a href="https://www.caminodesantiago.gal/en/make-plans/the-ways/northern-way" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Northern Way of Saint James</a> has been crucial for centuries. And as a town and region, suffice it to say that -until 1833- Mondoñedo was a province within Galicia, apart from Lugo.

<h4>A house in Mondoñedo with more than 100 years</h4>

Located in the heart of Mondoñedo's Historical Centre, and at a short distance from the Town Hall and the Cathedral, this house was built around 1900. The house is made of stone, brick and wood and is in perfect condition: very well cared for. As a detail, it has new all the exterior wood carpentry with double glass climalit, as well as the slate roof that has been completely reformed recently. It has four floors. A total of 228 m2 of useful area.
There are four floors, including attic and ground floor, in which there is a commercial space, with an independent access from the street, which could be converted into a garage. Or in a commercial space, given that many pilgrims pass through the street where the house is located, stopping in the city of Mondoñedo, before continuing their journey towards Santiago de Compostela.
